"I was excited to get the opportunity to hit with the Vanguard Power Invikta. I am a fan of the shape of this paddle, and I was interested to see how the Power version differed from the AMPED and the Vanguard Hybrid editions.

First off, I was amazed to see a .4” core for the paddle. It is very thin and makes the paddle very quick through the air. I was able to react and get the paddle to the ball amazingly well. The thin core also means that the energy isn’t absorbed in the paddle. I could feel every hit (and miss hit) giving me instant feedback to how I was playing.

The paddle does have pop, justifying the Power in its name. The QuadCarbon Face does extend the sweet spot further down the face than with the Amped Invikta, but not as far as the Vanguard Hybrid Invikta. The sweet spot side to side is tighter than either of the above paddles.

This Vanguard Power Invikta is a great fit for players who are very consistent at hitting the ball in the center of the sweet spot. They will get great punch and have the ability to attack the ball thanks to the speed of the paddle. For those who are looking for a little more forgiveness and game improvement play, I would recommend they stick with the Amped Invikta or the Vanguard Hybrid Invikta."
