It's clear when you step on a court with a Z5 the player is well read and ready to play...this paddle performs as good as it looks. Great control for both soft shots and when it's important to hit hard your ready with the Z5. None Better!

The graphite paddle is excellent. The grip has a slightly tacky feel that allows you to maintain the grip, even when you sweat. Very happy with the products.

I have played with the Z5 on four occasions. I like the feel of the 8OZ paddle. It has a solid feel on the return shots and while serving. My only complaint is the 4-1/2" circumference grip. I would much prefer a 4-1/4" grip.

Awsome paddle. Everyone that tries it loves it. Very sturdy and high quality. Even the rubber trim surrounding the paddle is amazing. My wife hit the ground with it several times and you can't even see any marks on it. Would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Delivery was very quick, just two days after placing order. On my first attempt to use it my my game was immediately improved. I found it's excellent balance improved my ground strokes, and also gave me a chance to more easily direct my volley returns.

Wanting a graphite paddle, it appears they are either light or medium weight. This puppy is medium weight and being a senior (as in retired), I don't have the strength I used to have and the medium-weight paddle helps me deliver that ball to the other side.
Now about PickleballCentral. They are great; we all know that.

I find thast the slight grit finist on the paddle face allows better control with "touch" shots. Als, when I hit away, it really adds pop to the pace of the ball.

After using several other graphite paddles, the Z5 gives more "pop" than others. I also feel this paddle allows the user more control because of the "sticky feel" of the surface. I now have two Z5's and appreciate the manufacturers consistancy of the weight (within .2oz).

The Graphite Z5 Widebody was exactly what I ordered except for the weight being lighter than advertised. Mine weighs 7.4 ounces. I was expecting 8.1-8.3. Would prefer a bit heavier paddle, but the Z5 is a quality paddle... well constructed and solid. It is much louder than the aluminum "Whisper" paddle I had been using. But that paddle, being aluminum, doesn't stand up to hard use like a graphite paddle as it dents and also bends at the corners when digging out low wide shots.

Unbelievably responsive, very light wieght which allows for quick reactions, especially when playing up front. The grip is very comfortable and it is easy to switch hands while playing. I would recommend this racket for an intermediate and above player to obtain full advantage of the racket.
