I love this paddle. Second one I own now and will be used to demonstrate the game, guests, bring along to tournaments just in case and a backup if needed. Tennis grip is wonderful and stays tight in my hand even after seven long matches in the hot sun. Sweating is not my friend, but the grip keeps my racket from sliding. Great Paddle and I recommend it to all our new members.

Love the grip and hitting surface on this racquet. I am relatively new to the game and played with a wooden racquet, wow has this made a big difference in my level of play.

This is the most popular paddle in our club. It is well built, the graphics don't chip off. It is lighter than the wooden paddles that many folks start playing with. Women like the extra weight vs. the graphite when playing outdoors in the wind.

My wife plays with the Z5 graphite..simply put..loves it. I chose the Z5 composite, because I wanted a little more weight & a little bigger on the grip. When your with your PB group, the talk is all about the lightness of paddle as they proudly shove theirs into your hand for you to say “ oh wow that’s nice-n-light”. I don’t get too balled up in that..remember folks we’re talking grams or maybe an ounce or 2 at best. I just want a paddle heavy enough to know that I have something in my hand. Nowhere near the weight of wood. Both of the Z5s have a texture on the surface that I’ve not seen on any other paddle. I think it gives the paddle better ability for imparting spin on the ball. Probably up for debate by some, but it’s my review & I’m sticking to it.
Bottom line: I love this paddle. Get it & I’m guessing you won’t be disappointed. Good luck and have fun!

Great Paddle

Had been using an 8.7 oz Champion paddle for the past 1 1/2 years and was very happy with it, but wanted to try something different with similar weight. Selected the Z5 composite (8.6oz) about two months ago and am delighted with it. More evenly weighted than the Championand and plays very well.
Also, can't say enough about the service provided by Denise of PB Central. Had the exact paddle (color and weight) I wanted in 3 days with free shipping ( bought two paddles).

Went from a pickleball elite to this paddle. Just a touch heavier but I definitely noticed more pop off of this paddle. This is my main paddle now. My favorite paddle. I have 3 graphite Z 5 Widebodies and the Composite adds to my collection. The paddle is heavier which slows my swing for better control. I really like the zip it has off the paddle.

The Z5 is quick and light. Very large sweet spot. Spins can be effective off the surface of the Z5. Addicting "pop" when making contact.
