Heavy-Duty Pickleball Posts by PickleballCentral

The PickleballCentral Heavy-Duty Post Set includes a pair of 12-gauge steel posts that can be permanently embedded in the ground. If you're looking to set up your own court from scratch, these sturdy pieces of equipment will ensure you always have a place to play pickleball. Setup is fairly simple and only requires you or a contractor to install the set at the proper depth and spacing.

The PickleballCentral Heavy-Duty Post Set is made with a smooth surface, with each post measuring 2-7/8" in outside diameter. They can be installed with the PickleballCentral PVC Post Sleeves for easy removal during resurfacing or maintenance work. Each post is 54" tall and comes with a convenient crank system attached which allows them to be used with our PickleballCentral Permanent Net. This can then be adjusted to an appropriate level of tension during play.

• 2 7/8" outside diameter
• 54" overall length
• Removable handle and covered crank for increased safety
• Made of 12-gauge steel and powder-coated with a Flo-Coat process. (green or black)

Installation Instructions:

• PickleballCentral Heavy-Duty Pickleball Posts are compatible with the PickleballCentral Permanent Pickleball Net and are intended to be permanently embedded into the ground. Also, compatible with any standard size pickleball net.
• The footings should be a minimum 2' below the surface or to the local frost depth. The PickleballCentral Post will sit 12" below the ground set in a 2' deep ground sleeve. Standard Pickleball Net is 21' 7" in length. To allow for the proper fitting and correct tension of the net, the center of the footings should be placed 22' 2-7/8" apart-measured center of post to post. This creates the USAPA Regulation 22' inside of post to inside of post.
• Make sure the posts will rest no higher than 1" above the net cord, at a height of about 3' above the court surface.
• Post sleeves are recommended, as they allow for easy removal of the posts for resurfacing, maintenance, post repair, replacement, and alternate uses of the court. Sleeves for the posts are 24" and are sold separately.
