Wilson Pickleball Net Posts

The Wilson Pickleball Net Posts are specifically designed by Wilson Sports to be the ultimate solution for permanent pickleball courts. These posts include a Deluxe Heavy Duty Wind Reel which is the non-removable crank system for tightening and loosening the net. The best net to use with these posts is the Wilson Pickleball Net (36" or 31" version) which has the necessary loop feature to use with the crank found on these poles. Otherwise, a net with a steel cable is required for use. The steel poles have a 2-3/8” outside diameter and an inside diameter of 2-1/8”, with a wall thickness of 1/8”.

Each of the Wilson Net Posts is 50” long, making it the perfect height for pickleball playing. J-Clips are included to adjust the height of the net, if necessary, to make it regulation height. These posts come with 24”-tall PVC sleeves to use with the posts, but keep in mind that caps for these sleeves are not included. The sleeves have a 2-1/2” inside diameter and a 3” outside diameter.

Important Installation Note: We recommend reading through all installation instructions and checking height of posts and net prior to permanent installation. The Wilson Nets are 21' 9" wide, and posts should be placed so that the distance between the posts is 22' inside of post to inside of post. This is the USAPA specifications for nets. Please measure carefully to determine correct installation.

Installation Instructions:

• Wilson Pickleball Posts #501-3441 and 502-241 are compatible with the Wilson Pickleball Net #501-727W and are intended to be permanently embedded into the ground.
• The footings should be a minimum of 3'6" below the surface or to the local frost depth. The Wilson Pickleball Net is 21' 9" in length. To allow for the proper fitting and correct tension of the net, the center of the footings should be placed22' 2-3/8" apart. Please measure carefully before installing posts, as installation measurements may vary slightly.
• Make sure the posts will rest no higher than 1" above the net cord, at a height of about 3' above the court surface. Included with the #501-241 has a removable "J" hook used to maintain the correct height.
• Post sleeves are recommended as they allow for easy removal of the posts for resurfacing, maintenance, post repair/replacement, and alternate uses of the court. Sleeves for the #501-3441 posts are 24" and are sold separately. Sleeves for the #501-241 posts are included.
• During the off-season or when winterizing, it is best to remove the posts and plug the sleeves with sleeve covers to prevent moisture and dirt from entering the sleeves.
